The Realitoy objective is to balance design methods with art ideals to create experiences beyond just products, create an environment that connects on an emotional level, and establish relationships with individuals.
The project art approach is a photo-based exploration into the area between fine art & documentary photography.
Realitoy is the photo documentation of semi-imaginary events. Individual photos present scenarios based on a recollection of real or imagined events as well as on overpowering influences such as film & television.

Realitoy photographs feature elements of found object dioramas & assemblage, printmaking, found photography & painting.
As the project matures additional forms of artwork may be introduced to further build the experience.
The project design approach is best defined by the Experience Design methodology:
The practice of designing products, omnichannel journeys, and environments with a focus placed on user experience.
A meta discipline, experience design draws from many other disciplines including psychology, architecture and environmental design, product design, strategic design, information design, information architecture, marketing and brand strategy, interaction design, storytelling, lean startup, communication design, and design thinking.
